Public Meeting To Discuss Md. Teen Gunned Down On His Way To School
CAPITOL HEIGHTS, Md. (AP) -- Prince George's County police are holding a community meeting to discuss the unsolved killing of a teenager who was shot while walking to school.
The meeting on Marckel Ross is open to the public and will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Central High School on Branch Road in Capitol Heights. Authorities will address questions about the killing and ask for assistance from the community.
Ross was gunned down on Sept. 11 while walking to the high school. The 18-year-old was in the 11th grade and was a track athlete.
Police have said they have leads in the case, but no suspects.
