Prince George's County Woman Sexually Assaulted Inside Home
RIVERDALE, Md. (AP) -- Police in Prince George's County are investigating the sexual assault of an elderly woman inside her Riverdale home.
Detectives planned to distribute flyers Saturday evening in hopes of soliciting information from the community.
Police say the assault occurred Friday night inside a home in the 6100-block of 63rd Avenue, when a man grabbed a woman, sexually assaulted her and then ran away.
County police Chief Mark Magaw calls the crime "egregious" and says detectives are determined to find and arrest the responsible person.
