President Barack Obama Endorses Hillary Clinton For President
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- President Barack Obama officially endorsed his former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for president Thursday.
"Look, I know how hard this job can be," Obama said in a video that Clinton's campaign shared on YouTube. "That's why I know Hillary will be so good at it. In fact, I don't think there's ever been someone so qualified to hold this office. She's got the courage, the compassion and the heart to get the job done. And I say that as somebody who had to debate her more than 20 times."

Earlier in the day, Obama met with Clinton's challenger for the Democratic nomination, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, at the White House.
On Monday, the Associated Press reported that Clinton had secured the number of delegates needed to become the Democrats' presumptive nominee. Clinton went on to win Tuesday's primaries in California, New Jersey, New Mexico and South Dakota.
