President Barack Obama Calls To Congratulate Ravens
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Ravens Head Coach John Harbaugh and General Manager Ozzie Newsome got the phone call of a lifetime Tuesday--from President Barack Obama!
Mary Bubala reports the president congratulated the team and even had something to say about the infamous Superdome blackout.
"I just wanted to say congratulations," Obama said. "If you can, tell Joe Flacco, Ray Rice, Jacoby Jones, Ray Lewis--tell them all how proud we are of them."
It is tradition for the Super Bowl champions to meet the president at the White House. We know the players are really looking forward to that moment.
