Prayer Vigil Held For Md. Teacher Injured In Boston Marathon Bombings
TOWSON, Md. (WJZ) -- Hundreds of people offered prayers and support for one Marylander injured in the Boston Marathon bombing. Erika Brannock is still recovering in a Boston hospital.

When the Boston Marathon bombs exploded last week, Erika Brannock, 29, was caught in the blast. The damage was so severe, doctors were forced to amputate her left leg.
Now, as she heals in a Boston hospital, members at the preschool where she works --Trinity Episcopal in Towson--believe their prayers will help.
"We were very shocked and concerned and we're just praying for her and hoping for the best and hope that she'll be well," said Trinity Episcopal member Joanie Miller.
Fellow members say they're doing everything they can to help the Brannock family. Last week, the congregation held a special vigil for the runner and her sister, who was also wounded in the double bombings.
"It is so very important that people express their community and that we lean on each other in these horrible times," said Rev. Ken Saunders, Trinity Episcopal Church.
Brannock is a preschool teacher at the Trinity Episcopal Children's Center, where parents and teachers have set up a medical fund in her honor. Click here for more information.
"We just wish Erika the best and her family, and we're doing all kinds of things to help," said Trinity Episcopal member Mariah Emerson.
The church says it is also planning a blood drive in honor of Brannock.
