Prince George's Police Arrest 2 In Death Of Teenager
FORT WASHINGTON, Md. (AP) -- Prince George's County police say they've made two arrests in the shooting death of a teenager who attended a Fort Washington birthday party.
Akil Darnell Ings, 17, of Suitland and Kquantae Fisher, 19, of Fort Washington are both charged with first- and second-degree murder in the death of 16-year-old Marcus Antonio Jones. Police say Ings is in custody in Washington awaiting extradition. Fisher is being held without bond.
Detectives are also looking for a third suspect.
Jones was shot after leaving a party early Sunday.
Police say the party was carefully planned. Those invited were required to show identification at the door, but they say word of the party spread and some were turned away. When the party broke up at midnight, shots were fired as the crowd was leaving.
