Powerball Jackpot Jumps To $800M

BALTIMORE (WJZ)—The Powerball excitement continues to brew with a new jackpot of $800 million!

Lottery officials say if you take the cash option, winner(s) would received $328.6 million after taxes.

Powerball hopefuls have until 9:59 p.m. Saturday to purchase their tickets.

The largest three Powerball jackpots ever are:

$590.5 Million — February 2013
$587.5 Million — November 2012
$564.1 Million — February 2015
