Suspect Held In Shootings Near NSA And Other Md Locations
FORT MEADE, Md. (WJZ) -- The FBI has a person in custody it says is responsible for shooting incidents near the National Security Agency at Fort Meade, Maryland, on a nearby highway, and at other locations in the D.C.-Baltimore area over the last two weeks, CBS radio affiliate WTOP in Washington reports.
There are questions about whether they could be linked to even more shootings.

Our media partner, The Baltimore Sun, has learned the FBI is trying to find out if the same gunman may be responsible for these shootings and three other recent reports of shots fired, including a shooting near Arundel Mills Mall last week.
The Sun's sources say that the car pictured below can be seen in surveillance video near some of the crime scenes.
Gunfire rips through the windshield of a moving truck on the Intercounty Connector in Laurel, injuring both the driver and passenger.
"They were just driving down the road, coming back from work," said Gary Cooper.
Cooper works with the victims at Nelson Tree Specialist. He says they frequently drove the ICC.
"Shocked. This happened to our community, to us," he said.
One victim was bruised by a bullet blocked by his own clothing. The other was cut with shards of glass to the face. Police aren't sure if the pair was the intended target.
"They're looking right now in a wooded area along the roadway, but they're canvassing the whole area," said Lt. Kevin Ayd, MdTA Police.
Just hours after the pair was shot on the ICC, U.S. Park Police responded to a call of shots fired almost 15 miles away on the Baltimore Washington Parkway near NSA.
Police say no injuries were reported, but shut down part of the interstate looking for who fired at the building and precisely where the shots came from.
"It's pretty scary," said Anna Nguyen.
"When you're trying to get from point A to point B, you think you'd be in your car, you'd be safe, right? Not driving around trying to dodge bullets," said Laura Schwartz.
There's no immediate proof linking both shootings, but the brazen lawlessness has drivers who use those roads unsettled.
There were only minor injuries in the shooting along the ICC. One of the victims has already been released from the hospital.
