Police To Hand Out Flyers In Teen's Shooting Death
UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (AP) -- Prince George's County Police are going door-to-door seeking information in the neighborhood where a teenager was shot and killed in her home a year ago.
Homicide detectives are going door-to-door Monday night in the Kettering community handing out flyers about the slaying of Amber Stanley, 17, on Aug. 22. Stanley was found dead in her home.
School officials say Stanley was a rising senior at Charles H. Flowers High School in Springdale, where she was enrolled in an elite science and technology program.
