Police Search For Suspect In Sexual Assault
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WJZ) -- On Saturday at approximately 7:30 p.m., officers from the Anne Arundel County Police Department responded to the Annapolis Mall for a report of a sexual assault and attempted abduction.
According to police, the victim was walking with friends at the Annapolis Mall near the parking garage when they were approached by the suspect. The suspect had the victim enter into his vehicle where she was sexually assaulted. The victim was able to exit the vehicle and immediately contacted the police department.
The suspect is described as a white man, 5'10" with a thin build and between 20 and 25 years old. He was wearing glasses. He had short hair, which was gelled backward. He was wearing a black North Face jacket and dark pants. He was driving a black four-door SUV.
