Police Offer Reward In Jessup Home Invasion
JESSUP, Md. (AP/WJZ) -- Howard County police are offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a man in a Jessup home invasion.
Police say they believe the home on Montevideo Road was targeted and that the public is not in danger.
The crime occurred just before 2:20 a.m. Wednesday when a man carrying a gun entered the home. A woman who called 911 locked herself in an upstairs bedroom with two other adults and two teenage children.
Police say two shots were fired by the suspect inside the home.
That man was gone by the time officers arrived. The family was found unharmed in an upstairs bedroom.
