Police Probing First-Degree Assault In Dundalk; Police Say Suspect Hit Child Crossing The Street
DUNDALK, Md. (WJZ)-- Baltimore County police are looking for a suspect they say hit a juvenile with his vehicle on purpose as the child was crossing the street.
The first-degree assault happened in the 3300-block of Wallford Drive in Dundalk around 5:40 p.m. Friday. The victim and several witnesses told police that a while male between 50 and 60 years of age purposely accelerated his vehicle and swerved to hit the child.
The vehicle was a newer model, silver- or gray-colored Chevy Silverado king cab with a modified exhaust system. The passenger-side mirror made contact with the victim's left arm and may be damaged.
The juvenile was treated at a local hospital and released.
