ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- Annapolis police are investigating a string of burglaries that may have happened within minutes of each other at local businesses.
Police say four burglaries occurred Saturday night between 10:17 p.m. and 10:48 p.m. Investigators say money and property were stolen from a Subway restaurant, McCormick Paints, Insane Car Audio and Dunkin' Donuts.
Another burglary on West Street was reported to Anne Arundel County Police.
Police in Annapolis say a possible suspect is described as a man wearing a distinctive blue or green plaid hooded jacket, yellow and blue work gloves, light color pants and tan work boots.
A similar burglary was reported Friday in the early morning hours at Jerry's Subs and Pizza. In that case, the glass door to the business was broken, and cash register drawers were taken.
