Police Offer Reward In Exxon Robbery
COLUMBIA, Md. (WJZ) -- Howard County police have released photos and are offering a reward for information about a robbery in a Columbia gas station. Up to $500 is being offered for information.
Police say an Exxon in the 8200-block of Snowden River Parkway was robbed around 1:45 a.m. on Jan. 19. According to police, a man came into the Exxon store, brandished a knife and demanded money. He also took several cartons of cigarettes before leaving. Police believe he got into the passenger side of a waiting vehicle.
The suspect is described as a black male around six feet tall, weighing between 150 and 180 pounds, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with the hood up, blue jeans, dark shoes, dark gloves and a yellow bandana covering his face. Surveillance footage shows that the suspect entered the store three hours earlier in the same clothes except for the bandana.
