Police: Man Killed His Boss' Wife, Himself In Md.
POTOMAC, Md. (AP) -- Police say a man who killed his boss' wife and then himself had been accused of a theft in the workplace.
Montgomery County police on Wednesday identified the suspect in Tuesday's murder-suicide in Potomac as 42-year-old Andrew Racca of Chevy Chase.
Racca worked at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in Bethesda. Richard Mattingly was one of his managers at the foundation. Police say Racca was told by management on Monday that the alleged workplace theft would be reported to authorities.
Police say Racca didn't come to work on Tuesday. He was found dead inside a car near Mattingly's home that afternoon. Mattingly's wife, 57-year-old Carolyn Mattingly, was found dead in the garage of the home.
Authorities have not officially determined the cause and manner of death for Racca and Carolyn Mattingly.
