Police: Man In Baltimore Co. Died Of Hypothermia
DUNDALK, Md. (AP) -- Baltimore County Police said Wednesday that a man whose body was found behind a Dundalk elementary school died as a result of exposure to the extreme cold.
The medical examiner has preliminarily determined that 28-year-old Daniel Cedillo, of Baltimore, died of hypothermia, police said.
Cedillo's body was found by a school support employee behind Logan Elementary School just before 7 a.m. Tuesday, a time when the area was experiencing some of the most severe temperatures from the polar vortex that swept through much of the eastern U.S.
Baltimore County Police are also investigating the death of 40-year-old Jason Meisenhalder, who was found dead Tuesday afternoon in Rocky Point Park in Essex. Police have not released a cause of death but do not suspect foul play.
Police in Prince George's County say they are still awaiting a determination from the medical examiner whether the death of an apparent homeless man in Oxon Hill Tuesday was weather-related.
