Police: Man Fleeing Gunfire Hit By Vehicle In East Baltimore
BALTIMORE (AP) -- Police say a man was hit by a vehicle while fleeing gunfire in East Baltimore.
Officers called to Ashland Avenue on Sunday evening for a report of a man shot found a man suffering from wounds to his leg and head. The man was taken to an area hospital, but police say medical staff found that the man's injuries were not gunshot wounds.
Police say detectives have determined that the man was hit by a moving vehicle while trying to get away from gunfire.
