Police Look For Escaped Prisoner In Anne Arundel Co.
ANNAPOLIS Md. (WJZ) -- Anne Arundel County Police are looking for an escapee.
Police say Elwood Veney was last seen at the State Highway Administration on Defense Highway. He was last seen running toward Generals Highway in the direction of the Annapolis Mall.
Veney, 33, is 5'9" and 189 pounds. He has tattoos on his arm, chest and neck, plus has his name on his right arm.
Veney was wearing blue jeans with no pockets, a blue shirt and a gray sweatshirt.
He was being held until August 2017 for robbery with a deadly weapon and firearm possession.
