Police Investigating Brooklyn Park Stabbing
BROOKLYN PARK, Md. (WJZ)- Anne Arundel County Police are investigating a stabbing in Brooklyn Park.
It happened Wednesday at 10:05 p.m. in the 5600-block of Patrick Henry Drive.
Police say a 66-year-old man was stabbed after a male suspect attempted to force his way into the victim's home.
After the stabbing, the suspect fled towards Church Street.
The victim was stabbed in his arm and was transported to Baltimore Washington Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Several officers canvassed the area, but were unable to locate the suspect.
Police say the suspect is a white male with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt.
At this time, it is unknown whether the stabbing was a random or targeted incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
