Police Investigate Taxi Cab Stabbing
BEL AIR, Md. (WJZ) -- The Harford County Sheriff's Department is investigating a robbery and stabbing of an ABC Company taxi cab driver.
Police say driver Robert E. Donley was assaulted by a fare that had demanded money after he was picked up and driven to his destination. The suspect stabbed Donley in the upper torso and then fled.
The suspect is described as a white male in his mid-20s, wearing all black and a black hooded sweatshirt.
Donley was taken to Bayview Medical Center and then transferred to Shock Trauma. He is in serious condition.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
