Police Investigate Body Found In Cecil County
OAKWOOD, Md. (AP) -- Maryland State Police continue to investigate after a man was found dead near a local bar along a Cecil County road.
Police said Saturday that they have not yet determined what killed 51-year-old Mark T. Grubbs of Pylesville. He was found lying in the road on U.S. Route 1 near the Conowingo Dam early Friday morning.
Investigators say Grubbs was at Sweeny's Bar before his death. Investigators want to speak with any witnesses who may have been at the bar.
Officials say it was initially thought that Grubbs had been involved in a car accident, but his injuries left them uncertain.
Grubbs' body has been taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore for an autopsy.
