Police In Md. Investigate Hate Graffiti At School
POOLESVILLE, Md. (AP) -- Montgomery County police are investigating what they call a hate incident at a high school, as well as the theft of a utility vehicle from the school grounds.
Police were notified on Monday that an employee at Poolesville High School found graffiti on the outside school walls, windows and basketball court. Some had been spray-painted and included KKK, a swastika and ethnic slurs.
Police said a utility vehicle had been taken from a locked storage building on school grounds. Officers say the crimes occurred between 9 p.m. Sunday and 5:30 a.m. Monday.
