Police In Md. Capture 4-Foot Ball Python
EASTON, Md. (AP) -- Easton police officers have captured a four-foot-long ball python spotted on a bridge.
About 3 p.m. Wednesday, officers received a report of a snake on the bridge along the Rails to Trails path. Officers found the snake hiding in a partially hollowed part of the bridge and forced the reptile into a metal trash can.
WBOC-TV reports that a local veterinarian agreed to take and care the snake, which he said either escaped from or was released by its owner.
