Police ID 6-Year-Old Boy Killed In Md. House Fire
CHILLUM, Md. (AP) -- Prince George's County fire officials have identified a 6-year-old boy who was killed in a house fire at his Chillum house.
Fire department spokesman Mark Brady says Omari Noel was killed in the fire that broke about 3:45 a.m. Sunday in the 2400-block of Griffen Sgreet. Brady says Omari was one of three people whom firefighters carried out of the home.
Brady says the others, Omari's mother and his aunt, remained hospitalized in critical condition on Monday afternoon.
He says preliminary information indicates the fire was accidental.
