Police ID 2 Men Killed In Separate West Baltimore Shootings
BALTIMORE (WJZ)— Homicide detectives are investigating two fatal shootings in Baltimore City.
The most recent occurred just after midnight Saturday at 2517 Christian Street in West Baltimore.
Officers found 28-year-old Tavone Dennis at the scene with a gunshot wound to his chest.
Dennis was taken to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Police continue to investigate a fatal shooting that occurred around 5 p.m. Friday in the 3200-block of Chelsea Terrace. Officers arrived to find a man suffering from a gunshot wound to his head.
The victim has been identified as 34-year-old man Matthew Drake. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
