Police: Sex Assault, Invasion Reported In Bethesda
BETHESDA, Md. (AP) -- Police in Montgomery County say a Bethesda housekeeper was sexually assaulted, and a woman and her teenage son were tied up after two men forced their way into their home.
Police spokesman Sgt. Jennifer McNeal says an armed man came to the home around 6:45 a.m. Wednesday and forced his way inside.
McNeal says a second man may have waited outside.
Police say all three victims were tied up.
McNeal says the two suspects took off in a car that belonged to the housekeeper. Police say it is a gray Ford Expedition with Maryland license number 4AE-7450. The vehicle also had a McDaniel College sticker on the rear window.
Later Wednesday, police said they had linked the incident to a similar home invasion that happened Tuesday morning in Wheaton.
