Police: Glen Burnie Car Crash Victim Stabbed Before Accident
GLEN BURNIE, Md. (AP) -- Police say an Aberdeen man who died after his car crashed into a tree had been stabbed before the accident happened.
The Baltimore Sun reports that Anne Arundel County police say Lamonte Tracey Sherman, 39, had injuries to his chest that could not have been sustained in the car crash.
Authorities say Sherman lost control of his car Sunday evening.
The car jumped a curb and struck a table outside Ann's Dari Creme before it hit a tree. A 15-year-old girl was taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Two other people received minor injuries and were released from the hospital.
Sherman died after he was taken to Baltimore-Washington Hospital. Authorities have no motive for the slaying.
