Police: 'Incoherent' Pasadena Man Burglarizes Neighbors' Homes
PASADENA, Md. (WJZ) --A Pasadena man was arrested over the weekend by Anne Arundel County police after he was identified as a suspect in a number of residential burglaries.
According to police, officers responded to a burglary call at 3:36 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 21 in the 900 block of Duvall Highway in Pasadena.
Police say a suspect broke a window as he entered the unoccupied home. When the homeowner arrived, he called police.
As police were taking the initial report, they received a call about another burglary a block away. That caller reported a male suspect was using his shoulder to push the front door open. Officers left to respond to that burglary, but they heard screaming coming from a home in the 7700 block of Central Avenue.
When police arrived, the female victim said she opened the door after hearing a loud banging and was pushed to the ground as the suspect ran into the home. He stumbled and fell to the ground, where officers found him.
Police arrested 36-year-old Christopher Wade Shore Jr. in the burglaries. Shore also lives in the 900 block of Duvall Highway.
As police took Shore into custody, they received a third call about a damaged storm door in another attempted burglary.
Shore was taken to a local hospital because police say he was extremely incoherent. Police say the man was on drugs.
After he was discharged from the hospital, Shore was sent to Jennifer Road Detention Center, where he remains on charges on multiple counts of burglary, attempted burglary, and destruction of property.
None of the homeowners were injured during the robberies, police said.
