Police Charge 2 Men With First-Degree Murder After Fatal Shooting Outside Pasadena House
PASADENA, Md. (WJZ)-- Anne Arundel County police have arrested and charged two men in connection with a shooting outside a Pasadena house.
Police have charged Ronald Lee McLeod, 18, and Daniel Alex Savage, 19, with first-degree murder.
Police say that at 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, they received a call reporting a shooting in the 7000-block of Outing Avenue. They found Matthew Morrow, 21, and another victim suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were taken to area hospitals but Morrow died from his injuries. The other victim is recovering from non-life threatening injuries.
Detectives say that Morrow and the other victim were standing in front of the house where a party was underway when the suspects shot at them and then fled in a dark-colored vehicle. They added that they believe the victims were targeted and that it was not a random shooting.
