Police Arrest Teen Wanted In 'Bump & Run" Style Auto Thefts
BALTIMORE (WJZ) — A teen sought in connection to a string of "bump and run" style auto thefts has been arrested.
Police say 17-year-old Joseph Coates was wanted on charges of carjacking, robber, theft, conspiracy to commit carjacking, motor vehicle theft and assault.
Police spokesperson T.J. Smith says he was arrested on Tuesday night.
On Monday police announced the arrest of six teens for their involvement in the "bump and run" style thefts across the city.
