Police Arrest Final Suspect In Taneytown Robbery
TANEYTOWN, Md. (AP) -- State police say they've arrested the fifth and final suspect in a home invasion and shooting in Taneytown.
Dalonte Dunston, 21, was arrested in Frederick Saturday afternoon.
He's believed to be one of five people who went to the Taneytown home of Alan Kent early Friday morning to rob him of money, drugs and guns. Kent was shot in the leg and struck in the head during the robbery.
The other four suspects have all been arrested and charged.
Dunston was tracked to his grandmother's home in Frederick and taken into custody after a brief foot chase. He faces charges including attempted murder, first-degree assault and armed robbery.
Police have also recovered what they believe to be the handgun Dunston used during the robbery.
