Police: 2 Men Sought In String Of Robberies In Md.
PALMER PARK, Md. (AP) -- Prince George's County police say they are searching for two men in connection with at least six robberies of businesses over the weekend.
Police say the men wore masks and flashed semi-automatic handguns in the robberies, which occurred at gas stations,
convenience stores and fast-food restaurants.
Authorities say the men hit a Shell gas station on Annapolis Road in Bowie on Friday night. The next night, police say the men struck a Safeway gas station on Fairwood Parkway in Glenn Dale and a McDonald's on Ritchie Road in Capitol Heights.
On Sunday, the men hit two 7-Eleven stores, one on Central Avenue in Capitol Heights and the other on Watkins Park Drive in Kettering. Police say their final stop was the Chesapeake Market on Annapolis Road in Glenn Dale.
