PNC Bank Offering $5,000 Reward In Robbery
SYKESVILLE, Md. (AP) -- Maryland State Police say PNC Bank is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a suspect in the robbery of one of its branches.
The robbery occurred about 1 p.m. Tuesday at the PNC branch in Sykesville. Troopers say the man entered the bank and demanded money from a teller. After getting cash, the robber fled in a dark green passenger car.
The robber is described as a white man, 6' tall, with a stocky build and wearing a black ski mask, black gloves, a red plaid shirt over a blue shirt, blue jeans and white sneakers.
Troopers say bank robberies committed in Howard and Prince George's County have a similar description of the suspect.
Anyone with information is urged to call Maryland State Police at 410-386-3000.
