Prince George's Schools: No Laws Broken In Cell Phone Sex Case
UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (AP) -- Prince George's County school officials say no laws appear to have been broken in an incident involving consensual sex between two students that was recorded.
Schools spokesman Briant Coleman said school officials have spoken with county police and it initially appears nothing criminal took place. However, the schools spokesman says the incident involving a cell phone violated the student code of conduct and students have been warned and parents have been notified.
Principal Rudolph Saunders told The Washington Post that the incident took place during an after-school activity and involved "consensual sexual acts" and "the inappropriate use of technology."
The incident follows the convictions last week of three Fairfax County boys who were found guilty on juvenile charges for shooting cell phone videos of themselves and other teens having sex.
