Person Found Dead In Calvert County House Fire
OWINGS, Md. (AP/WJZ) -- Fire officials in Maryland say a person is dead after a house fire in Calvert County.
The fire was reported early Wednesday morning inside a home on Lower Marlboro Lane in Owings.
Firefighters from Huntingtown, Prince Frederick, Dunkirk, North Beach and Anne Arundel County Fire Departments responded to extinguish the blaze.
A person was found dead inside the home, and officials are working to determine the cause of the fire and the identity of the victim.
The fire marshal's office says the home and three vehicles were badly damaged in the fire.
The damage loss value estimate is $250,000.
