Pedestrian Struck Along I-70 In Western Md.

MYERSVILLE, Md. (AP) -- Maryland State Police say they're looking for a hit-and-run driver who struck a pedestrian on westbound Interstate 70 near Myersville.

Police say a 25-year-old Frederick woman suffered injuries to her left arm and leg when she was hit shortly before midnight Saturday night.

They say the woman and a companion had pulled onto the shoulder near the Route 17 exit to change a flat tire. The woman told police she was standing by the driver's side door when she was struck by a dark-colored Ford Crown Victoria.

Police say the Ford also hit the victims' white Cadillac. They say the Crown Vic probably has extensive damage to its right front side.
