Peabody Director To Head Royal Conservatoire
BALTIMORE (AP) -- The director of the Peabody Institute has been named principal of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
Johns Hopkins University announced Wednesday that Jeff Sharkey has been appointed principal of the Conservatoire to succeed John Wallace, who will retire in September 2014. The position of principal is equivalent to president.
Sharkey says he has long admired the work and achievements of the Royal Conservatoire.
