Party Bus Shot At On BW Parkway; No One Injured
WASHINGTON (AP) -- U.S. Park Police officials say a bus with about 50 passengers was shot at over the weekend on the Baltimore-Washington Parkway in what may have been an act of road rage.
The bullet did not strike anyone inside the bus, and no one was injured.
Police say the shooting happened around 3:30 a.m. Sunday when a so-called "party bus" taking the ramp to the northbound lanes of the parkway stopped on a median strip. A BMW then stopped in front of the bus, and a passenger from the car leaned out the window and fired at the bus. The bullet went through the glass but did not hit anyone.
Police say they're looking for an older four-door BMW with D.C. tags.
