Part Of BW Parkway Reopens After Double Shooting
RIVERDALE, Md. (AP) -- Authorities say a portion of the Baltimore-Washington Parkway in the Riverdale area has re-opened following an investigation into a double shooting.
U.S. Park Police says two men were shot in a car early Thursday on the parkway near Riverdale Road. Both men were taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The northbound lanes of the parkway had been closed between Riverdale Road and the Capital Beltway.
