Parkville High Senior Victim In Fatal Shooting
PARKVILLE, Md. (WJZ)—A Parkville High senior is the victim of a weekend of violence in Baltimore County. Now his classmates are coping with the loss, and police are searching for a killer.

Purple is 18-year-old Brandon Jackson's favorite color. It's why students at Parkville High are wearing it to remember Jackson who was shot and killed early Sunday morning at an Exxon gas station.
"I said, 'Oh God, please don't let that be my child underneath that sheet,'" said Gloria Jackson, the victim's grandmother.
Gloria Jackson says he was spending the holiday weekend with friends.
But the fun times soon turned deadly, and Jackson received an early morning phone call from one of the teen's fathers.
"He said 'Ms. Jackson you need to get over here right away.' He said 'I can't make heads or tails out of what Marvin is saying. All I know is that Marvin came running in the house talking about they shot Brandon.'"
Investigators say Jackson and his friends drove to the gas station for snacks. Soon after, several suspects confronted them and police say that's when an argument started and someone fired a gun, striking Brandon.
He died at the gas station, leaving family and friends in shock.
"I have no idea why anyone would want to take his life," said Trisha Guy, Brandon's godmother. "He had so much potential."
Police say minutes after the shooting, the suspects ran into the Dutch Village area; it's an apartment complex. Their identities are still a mystery.
"We believe that someone out there knows what happened in this case and may know the suspects in this case," said Robert McCullough, Baltimore County police spokesman.
Now as the family mourns, there's a plea for the suspects to come forward.
Baltimore County school leaders say grief counselors will be at the school to help students cope.
