Pancreatic Cancer Research 5K To Shut D.C. Streets
WASHINGTON (AP) -- Police in Washington say drivers should expect street closures this weekend because of a walk to benefit pancreatic cancer research.
The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network is holding its "Purple Stride 5k Walk and Run" on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Streets around Freedom Plaza will be closed to traffic starting at 3 a.m.
Streets in the area are expected to re-open around 1 p.m.
