Pa. Man Pleads Guilty In 2-County Police Chase
FREDERICK, Md. (AP) -- A Pennsylvania man has pleaded guilty to driving under the influence and other offenses relating to a police chase through Carroll and Frederick counties.
James Lester Myers, 28, of Biglerville entered the plea Friday in Frederick County Circuit Court. He was sentenced to seven years in prison.
Prosecutors say on April 19, Myers fled when a Taneytown Police tried to pull him over. Police say Myers drove into Frederick County, hitting a Maryland State Police patrol car. His car was finally stopped in Frederick County.
The News-Post of Frederick reports that Myers apologized in court, saying his actions were not acceptable behavior.
