Pa. Man Charged With Robbing Same Md. Bank Twice
LAVALE, Md. (AP) -- A Pennsylvania man has been charged with robbing the same western Maryland bank twice in the past week.
The more recent robbery occurred Tuesday morning. State police say William Miller, 47, of Shade Gap, Pa., entered the Susquehanna Bank branch office in LaVale and went behind the counter, informing tellers that he had a gun and demanding money.
Police say Miller left the bank with Chelsea Morrison-Mikolajczyk, 27, of North East, who acted as a lookout during the robbery. The two were arrested shortly afterward, following a pursuit that included a crash involving the vehicle the suspects were driving.
Police say they also found evidence in the car from an armed robbery at the same bank last Wednesday.
Only Miller was charged in that case.
