Ospreys Displaced By Lightning Strike Moving Into New Home
BALTIMORE, Md. (WJZ) -- A family of ospreys displaced from their nest by a fire sparked by a lightning strike will move into their new home Thursday.
Three chicks were rescued from the pole following the June 23 fire and handed over to Owl Moon Raptor Center in Boyds for rehabilitation, BGE tells WJZ.

BGE crews were set to install a raised platform for the birds to nest off Poplar Ridge Road in Pasadena, right on the water, BGE spokesperson Richard Yost said.

The chicks will move into their new digs around noon.
