Orioles/Rangers Playoff Game Keeps Fans Glued To TV Screens Across Md.
BALTIMORE (WJZ)-- The Baltimore Orioles won their first playoff game in 15 years against the Texas Rangers on Friday night.

Fans watched the game right outside Camden Yards, cheering and chanting for their team.
In downtown Baltimore, O's adrenaline was out of control as fans gathered to watch the Orioles face off the Rangers in their first playoff game in 15 years.

"Being 27 years old, it is the biggest game in my Oriole career, without a doubt. You know, it's big for the city," Joey Smith said.
Right across the street from Camden Yards, fans filled the streets to watch the big game on the big screen. And emotions were running high.
"I'm tensed up. I can't keep my eyes off the screen," Darin Barr said.

"This place has the gritty Baltimore feel that we need and you know, it's like being at the Harbor without the live baseball," Smith said.
Inside, eyes were glued to the TV for every pitch and play and the tension was just as thick.
In White Marsh:
"It's crazy down here," Betty Culpepper said. "I mean, you can feel it."
"I'm excited. It's awesome."
One thing all fans seem to be feeling was confident.
"I think this is going to be a great year for baseball and I think we're going all the way," Teresa Dahlem said.
But win or lose, these fans all agree:
"Nobody expected them to get this far," Josh Myers said.

"We have to really be proud," Culpepper said.
The Orioles advance to play in the best-of-five division series against the New York Yankees on Sunday at Camden Yards.
