O's Starting Pitcher Wey-Yin Chen Heads To Disabled List
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Bad news for Orioles' starting pitcher Wey-Yin Chen. He's headed to the disabled list.
The lefty will likely go on the 15-day DL with a strain of his right oblique muscle.
He experienced pain in his side while throwing five shut out innings in the win at Minnesota on Sunday.
GM Dan Duquette confirms Chen needs a couple of weeks.
Tuesday, the O's start their series against the San Diego Padres at Camden Yards. You can catch the game at 7 p.m. on MASN.
