Orioles Manager Buck Showalter joined Baltimore's 105-7 THE FAN Thursday morning to discuss the Orioles trip to Houston against the Astros.

Buck mentions Freddy Garcia's poor outing in the second game of the series between the two clubs, as well as the loss not falling only on Garcia's shoulders. He talks about Houston's starting pitching and how well they have done recently.
He mentions Gonzalez starting the third game of the series against whom Showalter referred to as the Astros' best starting pitcher. He mentions some of the players on the Orioles' minor league clubs. When asked about starting pitching, he says "when people exit early, [pitchers] face guys they shouldn't." He also talks about a few different players and some things going on with them, such as the death of Nick Markakis' grandmother and Jason Hammel being thrown out of the game.
