The team will practice all week before the first spring training game on Sunday against the Boston Red Sox.
After struggling much of the last two seasons, all eyes were on first baseman Chris Davis said he gained about 25 pounds to help him drive the ball this year.
Davis said he considered walking away from baseball after another terrible season, but he decided to return and now hopes the added size and strength will help him get back his old form.
Manager Brandon Hyde was impressed with Davis' new look.
Due to the sheer number of pitchers in camp, Hyde said the team may have to schedule some inter-squad games in order to get everyone some work.
