One Month Ahead Of Election, Mail-In Ballots Already Being Counted In Baltimore, Anne Arundel County
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Election Day is exactly four weeks away, but ballots are already being counted in Baltimore and Anne Arundel County.
Work is underway to count the surge of mail-in and absentee ballots due to the coronavirus pandemic. More than one million Marylanders are expected to fill out mail-in ballots this year.
Harford, Howard and Carroll counties are expected to begin counting within the next two weeks.
