O'Malley To Testify At Job Creation Hearing
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- Gov. Martin O'Malley is testifying on how to create jobs before a panel of congressional Democrats in Washington.
Maryland's governor will testify before the House Democratic Steering and Policy Committee on Wednesday.
O'Malley, a Democrat, was invited to talk about his perspective as a governor on the importance of investing in infrastructure, innovation and other initiatives to create jobs.
Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter and representatives from the AFL-CIO, the American Road and Transportation Builders Association and the Association of Civil Engineers also are scheduled to testify.
